How soon should a wedding gown be cleaned?
Champagne and perspiration are invisible on white silk on the day and brown a year later, as the sugar caramelises. Bring it the week after if you can: same price, far better result.
Clean, or clean and preserve
Cleaned comes back on a hanger under a bag, fine if it will be worn or altered again.
Cleaned and preserved is packed for storage so it stays as it is, for keeping or passing down.
Both are quoted once we have seen the gown.
Prices
Quoted per gown on inspection, and told to you before anything starts. Allow longer than a normal order.
The rest of the party
Bridesmaids, the groom's suit, mothers' outfits and the flower girl. Bring them together and we plan what is ready when.
Alterations are done here in the building, even the week of the wedding.

What does wedding gown preservation include?
The gown is cleaned first, then packed in a preservation box so it can be stored as it is, for keeping or passing down.
How much does it cost to clean a wedding gown?
It depends on the dress: the fabric, the beading, the length of the train and how much staining there is. Preservation is priced separately from cleaning alone.

Longer than a normal two-day order. We give you a date when we quote, so you know when to collect it.
