Dry cleaning
Checked in by hand, spot treated, and cleaned by the process each fabric calls for.
Pressed by hand, buttons and seams checked again, then bagged on a hanger.
Shirts $4.10, a two piece suit $14.00. Most orders are ready in two business days.
Laundered shirts
Washed rather than dry cleaned, which suits cotton better. Collars and cuffs are treated first.
$3.11 a shirt, washed and pressed.
Wash and fold
Everyday laundry charged by weight, not by piece. We sort by color and fabric, wash, dry, fold and bag it. Bedding and towels are welcome in the same bag.
Tell us about anything that should be washed cold or kept out of the dryer and we will handle it separately.
Alterations and repairs
Hems, zippers, waist adjustments and buttons. Bring the shoes you plan to wear with the pants so we can set the length against them.

Alterations can be added to a cleaning order or booked on their own. More involved work is quoted when we see the garment.
Shoes, sneakers and hats
Cleaned by hand, never put through a machine.
Sneakers, shoes and boots
Midsoles, uppers and laces cleaned separately. Leather conditioned, suede brushed and treated, sheepskin handled so it does not go hard and flat. Salt marks from a Virginia winter come out.
Hats and caps
Caps cleaned without crushing the brim. Felt and straw hats cleaned, blocked and reshaped.
Priced per pair once we have seen them, because a canvas sneaker and a salt-marked suede boot are not the same job. These take longer than a normal order.
Household and specialty
Too big for a home machine, or too precious to risk in one.
Around the house
Comforters, duvet covers, blankets, pillows, curtains, tablecloths and area rugs. Large items are cleaned flat and dried properly so filling does not clump.
Specialty care
Leather and suede, UGG boots, handbags, and wedding gowns cleaned on their own or cleaned and boxed for storage. These take longer, and we will tell you how long before you leave.
